The way you can go isn’t the real way. The name you can say isn’t the real name. Heaven and earth begin in the unnamed: name’s the mother of the ten thousand things. So the unwanting soul sees what’s hidden, and the ever-wanting soul sees only what it wants. Two things, one origin, but different in name, whose identity is mystery. Mystery of all mysteries! The door to the hidden. Transl. Ursula K. Le Guin

about

The Future We Will Never See is an experiment in sound-thought, an off shoot from a new work by Kandinsky Theatre that deals with transhumanism, the mind/body problem and the deeper question of what makes us who we are. In a world where silicon valley tech billionaires call the shots, we try to imagine a future beyond the sci-fi, full of possibilities none of which exclude each other. If we can’t see the future can we hear it?
